Well, looking at Milly I am quite worried she seems to have balooned so I decided she has recuped long enough and today I lunged her at walk for 5 minutes on each rein then tonight took her for a walk up the lane, her eyes were out on stalks bless her looking at all the new countryside, she has huge eyes anyway and they looked even bigger as she took in everything around her, she was mesmerized by all the new sights and sounds, we were lucky that a deer did not run out of the forest as I don't know if I could have held her, but she loved it and to be honest.....so did I its going to be a long slow process but worth it as we both loved every minute of our special time together |

Well I would have taken her through our woods but..................... we have snakes and I am scared of them, we also have wild boar and it will be even worse when the fiels next to ours is in full bloom of sun flowers as they have their babies in there and are supposed to be really aggresive |

I always take my lot for a walk in hand.We back onto the woods and when we take the dogs for a walk we sometimes take the horses.
Have always taken the youngsters out and about in the woods. It helps them see things and still have you on the ground for security.

I love taking them out for walks  I've just backed my youngest and hope to get her out in hand again for a few walks before she hacks out - they do seem to love getting out and exploring! |

oh your so right it was really lovely, I was enthralled at her facial expressions and the way she was taking everything in like a child at a fun fair, she walked along really quiet but her eyes were everywhere and I was talking to her all the time, have to say it was majical |

I think you get just as much pleasure taking them out in hand I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with her whilst you bring her back into work |
