My purebred mare foaled on 21st June, and on 24th we found her filly foal dead, having fallen down an enormous badger hole. The mare is a very good mum and travels well. I am offering her as a foster mum, but will need to be teamed up with a new baby in next couple of days. I am in West Dorset. Tel 07860 448549 |

So sorry to hear your tragic news and hope your poor Mare will soon have an adopted foal to nurse.
How on earth did the poor foal manage to get access to a huge badger hole suffice to kill her, when she fell in ??
