Finally my search is over and my new boy is home! After losing my lovely, lovely Gizzy at the beginning of the year, I have been searching for my new boy... after driving all my friends and family to distraction, I finally found the one! The lovely Al Emeer has been with me for the last 3 weeks, and has settled in very well!
Thanks to Alan and Jackie for parting with him, Linda, from Affinity for all her help, and a extra special thankyou to Pat... who gave up so many weekends to help with the search, I couldn't have done it without you!!!
We met lots of lovely people and horses, but I am so pleased it's over....

Ali seems to be a slow recoverer... any suggestions to improve this? Still have vet visiting ,visit 9 and counting!!!re gelding, and every little nick seems to go gammy.... all answers considered! Still nipping.... just pushing him away gently,although he jumps back so knows he is being naughty!Any other idea's???

They are funny like that they still come even though your not doing the nicest things to them lets hope you wont have to do it for much longer! |

Is healing very slowly, gelded 3 weeks ago, vet been back about 7 times!Had to have 2 lots of injections daily, bless him, was such a good boy!
Then he cut leg open playing with one of the other boy's, gone a bit gammy too... seems to be a bit of a slow healer, any suggestions?
Had the trauma of gelding, then all the injections, daily hosing of his bit's and he's still a happy bunny... gallops up when I call him, you would think he'd run off in the other direction!!

Nyrobi is doing very well, although still very backward for his age. It is going to take a while for him to catch up from last winter, but he will get there eventually! Getting very tall and lanky at the moment, so it will take time for him to grow into himself anyway. I think he is going to be a big chap eventually. Not surprised you were smitten by the way, so was I when Linda showed me a photo!

Oh wow! Congratulations! What a gorgeous boy you have, and just love his sire also, but there again I would as my stallion is his half brother both being by Emiratus B
As a foal Al Emeer looks so like my colt foal, couldnt believe it...double take. If my foal turns out as lovely as Al Emeer I shall be well pleased. |

He's so lovely...
Has had some complications after gelding, but hopefully now on the road to recovery!Bless him, has been so patient, been having 2 injections a day and lot's of poking around, just standing quietly....with no nipping!
Will get the camera out soon! |
