Posted - 06 Jun 2009 : 10:30:09 PM I've just read on another forum that Tim the arab has been found in Scotland. His owner still doesn't have him back with her as there is a lot of red tape to get through as usual. At least she knows of his whereabouts and can hopefully get him back home very soon. |

Posted - 24 Aug 2009 : 2:09:54 PM I think it is disgusting that they are using Red tape as an excuse. If a murder took place in England and the murderer was hiding in Scotland, there wouldn't be a hold up then!
Keeping everything crossed for the safe and speedy return of Tim, back home where he belongs.

Posted - 24 Aug 2009 : 2:06:02 PM He has been located in Kilmarnock (Ayreshire), about 3 hours away from me. The ironic thing is that were he is at the moment they have over 20 horses and i only have one horse and that is Tim (apart from my 11.2hh Welsh section A - Cheeky little bugger and Tims companion). In very simular circumstances horses have been given back to their rightful owner and they have fought their own battles with getting re-imbursed by the person they brought the horse from originally. In my case because all the illegal sales took place on the English side and Tim is now living on the scottish side, this is what is casuing the hold up and red tape. Nobody wants to take responsability for my stolen horse i just want him home with me. Not giving up!!! He will be home...Soon... |

Posted - 23 Aug 2009 : 1:34:31 PM Unfortunately this is almost the same everytime with the police, I had the same conclusion with my horse Charlie who was sold whilst out on loan the police have said its a civil matter and are not interested waiting to hear the outcome of 2 cases going through court them will persue mine. Good luck Lisa I will be thinking of you but sorry its too far to travel to be in court with you. |
