I worked with him in college and wondered if he was still racing and whether he is entered for anything in 2012?
Any information would be a great help! Many thanks |

All on track for Wolverhampton, he won't light up the race track but he will have fun!!

Posted - 09 Apr 2012 : 11:14:42 AM Hi Lin123
Yes I did! Was the only one who didn't think he was a scruffy oik!
Will have to come across and watch him! Lotta always said that he'd find his home at some point!

Posted - 05 Apr 2012 : 12:48:13 AM Oh you must if you can Seems like you took a liking to him?
There's a very long and complicated story as to how I ended up with Suchaking having been aware of him from when he was foaled and not aquiring him him until he was a 3yo but that's not for here and PM me if you wish to know anymore. If he doesn't make the grade racing then he has all the attributes that I look for in an Endurance horse so he will have another career to attempt Thank you so much for caring enough about him to post on here.

Posted - 04 Apr 2012 : 6:05:10 PM Hi Callisto!
Many thanks for your help!
And hello Lin123! I was wondering where he had got too as when I returned for my second year he had been sold on, however Lotta did post a photo of him in the parade ring at Wolverhapton last year!
So glad to hear he's doing well and with his sister! I remember sitting around trying to track down his pedigree at college!
Its lovely to hear that he's doing so well! Will have to try and make the trip across to watch him run!

Posted - 03 Apr 2012 : 9:22:13 PM Hi there!
Yes, I own Suchaking (The Wiking x Sucha) Did you work with him at Hartbury? I managed to get him registered with the AHS and he started his racing career last year. He had just the 3 runs for education and although he ran very green he did show us some potential.
He came home to me in October for his holidays and then went back into training at the beginnning of March. Hopefully his first race of the season will be at Wolverhampton on 5th May.
We also have his full sister - Whisper - who has been a multiple winner on the race track, and his half-sister - Kizhi - who was also a multiple winner on the race track and has now progressed into Endurance where she so far has achieved her FEI 1* qualification, so he has 'come home' so to speak
Suchaking (or Syd as he's known at home!) is a really lovely, easy and laid back boy and a pleasure to own......with huge credit to the way he was handled at Hartbury as a youngster.
More than happy to give you any more info.
