Posted - 10 Jan 2011 : 9:57:18 PM does anyone know which, if any, stallions will be affected by the new IFAHR regulations for racing arabs - particularly part b?
IFAHR regulations a) All horses in Arabian Races must be parent verified. Horses born from January 1st, 2013 must also be by/out of parents who are parent verified.
b) All horses in Arabian racing must be registered in a WAHO accepted stud book and upon request parentage verified against the original (taken at the first registration) blood sample or DNA sample from both parents. |
