There are some changes to the running of this Championship for 2012.
Qualifying has changed. Shows affiliated to the Championship will give cards to the entries occupying the first four places at their shows. These cards should be attached to the qualifying card you have already purchased and sent to the Championship organiser; if you have not bought a card you can still qualify by send that card with a cheque for £10 to the Championship Organiser. Rosettes will be sent to qualifiers on receipt of the qualifying cards. There is no need to get anything signed in the ring.
You can also qualify at shows not affiliated to the Championships but affiliated to the AHS. To do this you will need to buy a card and take it into the ring with you and get it signed by the judge showing your placing and details of the class. The card should then be sent with a cheque for £5 to the Championship Organiser. Rosettes will be issued on receipt of the qualifying card and additional payment.
You may already have qualified for the 2012 Championship by gaining any of the following places at the previous Championship shows organised by the Wessex Group.
Anglo Arab Champion Anglo Arab Reserve Champion Part Bred Over 148cms Champion Part Bred Over 148cms Reserve Champion Part Bred 148cms and under Champion Part Bred 148cms and under Reserve Champion
If you believe you may have already qualified for the 2012 Championship please contact the organiser to check the situation.
Shows up to and including the last weekend in June 2012 will qualify for the 2012 Championships; after that date qualification will be for 2013.
The Show Committee for the AHS National Show has agreed to let us run the Championship at the National Show on Saturday 29th July 2012.
Entries for the Championship Show should be made on the AHS National Show entry forms.
