Posted - 09 Jan 2013 : 9:02:31 PM I'm doing the pennine way ride in april and need some rear saddle bags. i already have some at the front. they need to not be too large. I am a bit worried that my mare will not like them flapping about as she is a bit touchy about certain parts of her body. can anyone recommend any. They need to be medium sized. thanks |

Posted - 10 Jan 2013 : 10:27:59 AM I didn't get on with the conventional 'flappy' square type of saddle bags, but a banana shaped one that went around the cantle worked fine sort of like a cowboy saddle roll, although you would need suitable d rings on your saddle to attach it. I was in New Zealand when I used mine, but found something similar on a UK website - try Tattini Riding UK. |
