Posted - 22 Sep 2009 : 06:35:48 AM We had a wonderful weekend helping at the Sherwood ride - Val looked after us very well and there was a really good atmosphere all weekend.
Anyhows, Kezza took a few video clips while we were there and I thought you'd be interested to see. At the end there's some videos/stills of some of the 120km & 160km finishers - unfortunately didn't get them all as the battery died - but ruddy heck they all look amazing, and you'd never guess they'd done that distance.

Posted - 25 Sep 2009 : 8:53:00 PM Hi Esther,
Yes, my lad HT Orient was on the video as well, amazing, I recognised the spook to the right and then his blue tendon boots.
Thanks for that. Amazing ride.

Posted - 22 Sep 2009 : 9:02:38 PM That was a great video - thank you very much for sharing. Sadly many years since I have competed at Sherwood but that has certainly inspired me and I plan to be there with Tamba next year.
Look forward to seeing you there! |

Posted - 22 Sep 2009 : 12:28:02 PM If it had "Caution" on the back then yes,'twas us He was very well behaved considering it was his first time at anything that exciting.
We definitely got some admiring glances from everyone and nobody tutting and sending us home in disgrace so all in all it was a very good, educational outing.

Posted - 22 Sep 2009 : 08:34:48 AM Hi Esther
I was helping at Sherwood on Saturday and took Rio (Mr Roobarb) for a look round on Sunday.
Sorry to have missed you, it would have been nice to get your thoughts on how he'd grown up (or not )
