Hi, Spangle

Congratulations on doing the R D ride, i know its not the easyest and i also agree with you that this team is amazing, and they never fail to impress me.

Congratulations to all who were at The Red Dragon at the week end

I was most impressed with the management of this Team- to manage to train and compete with a young baby and only one crew member is pretty amazing- but they worked so well and got a great result as a reward!

Also interesting with the breeding- TB lines close to Marcos (http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/de+marco4)who also just completed the 100miles ride at the RD- and rode alot of day 1 with Heather and Kieran

Hi, Yes Shahfabah ( Kieran to his friends ) was at the Red Dragon ride and once again compleated the 100 miles and there was tears alround.
Heather Martin and baby Sid have worked so hard this year ( as always )to release the potential that this horse has,and at the end of a succssefull ride was invited to join The British Team. What an honour.

I think Sid must be one of the youngest crew members on the circuit helping daddy out and of the grand age of 22 months.

This family always make me feel so proud of them, and i have been very lucky to of found such a lovely home.

This what every breeder trys to achieve.

CONGRATULATIONS HEATHER MARTIN and BABY SID and oh of course Kieran

Shahfabah was taking part in the Red Dragon ride in Builth Wells at the weekend with her owner Heather Whiteley riding and hubby crewing and in the Red Dragon Class 80km + 80kms(100mile) ride over two days. I saw them out on course (over the hills), in the vet gates/ crew stops and at the final trot up and vetting on Sunday, They went very well and looked good and passed with flying colours, I think they finished 7th (out of 12 starters in the class).
I took several snaps and the only one I have of this horse is not my best, he was a fidget and refused to stand still while i took the pic..wanted to get going.. Hoipe you like the photo.

Yay, I managed to find the TB-line!!! Check out the pedigree now.. what a great sire line; through Northern Danser - the Great ECLIPSE - to DARLEY ARABIAN 1700!!!

Dam line goes to the beautiful Crabbet mare Rose of Sharon and Shahfabas' strain is therefore Kehailan Rodan Ibn Rualla to RODANIA Or.Ar (Crabbet/Sheykh Obeyd Egypt).

Hi Nat,

Yes he has a small amount of Babson in him out of my old mare Al-Arami, she did not have many foals but the ones she did have more than proved them selfs, she only had five and everyone of them have been successfull in Endurance, but must say Shahfabah has been the to date has been most successfull in the long distances.

Congrats.

Must have Babson in the pedigree with a name like that Maureen?
