Posted - 09 Sep 2009 : 12:17:32 PM I am researching an article for the winter issue of The Crabbet Organisation magazine regarding achievements of Crabbets in endurance for the 2009 season. Can anyone who owns/competes a Crabbet please let me know how results have gone for them this year please?
Thanks,
Caroline

Posted - 22 Sep 2009 : 7:46:29 PM Hi, if you look at the senior trophy postions so far for 2009 2nd is Cardinal Panache, 3rd Solitaire's Star...look them up on allbreeds.... VERY high % Crabbet, Ptolemaeus, Silver Linnet etc are also worth checking out on the egb archive http://www.archive.woodsideendurance.co.uk/ which has all horses' records on it. Sealeah Myranda, my husbands mare is also very high % Crabbet and has had a great season ,going advanced with 2x 80km, 2x65km and a couple of 40kms all at grade one (except one blot on the copy book with a grade 2 at 40km at Pen Ddol y Gador!!) as well as a gold in the Exmoor Experience. This is all a bonus as she forever proved her worth when she carried my husband 10,000km from Wales to Jordan a few years ago, bless her. Cheers Lisa |

Posted - 11 Sep 2009 : 8:34:40 PM Hi Julie,
Thanks for the suggestion, will revisit my notes from the parade (I organised it) to make sure all those entrants are covered.
The more info the better Rebbecca, you must be very chuffed with her. You've chosen a fabulous lad, sure the result will be worth the wait.

Posted - 10 Sep 2009 : 10:57:30 PM There were lots of Arabs at the crabbet parade Cirencester park ride 2008. My mare Bint masra has only done novice level due to rider illness, though my friends part bred has covered many miles in his 26 yrs, including 100miles in a day. Perhaps you could look on the endurance GB web site/forum for more info
