Posted - 15 Jul 2009 : 8:27:48 PM Yes will look out for you, what distance are you doing? Hope the weather improves. Taking Rose for a flatwork session tmr, she is a bit full of herself at the moment as she's starting to get really fit again, we live on the side of a hill so she hasn't lost much whilst not being ridden! I think I will have to do lots of work before Malvern otherwise we might disgrage ourselves Very difficult to get her to trot at the moment, she want's to canter or nothing, I am having to be very patient Have a good ride on Saturday. Posted - 15 Jul 2009 : 12:54:20 PM Yes going to Ludlow but not riding. Vet writing on Saturday. I Broke my collar bone in May and only just started riding again a couple of weeks ago so Malvern will be our first outing. Ludlow is a quite local for me but would like Rose a bit fitter (and me for that matter) before we compete. Hoping to take her to Barbury Castle. Sue |

Posted - 15 Jul 2009 : 09:53:54 AM Yes hopefully going for the Performance horse awards. Although we were placed 9th, still very proud of my girl in her first season of endurance so would like to take her. It will also be a nice experience for her going somewhere other than an endurance ride (well hopefully anyway). Just hope she behaves herself. I will probably wear my showing gear as well then. Sue |

Posted - 14 Jul 2009 : 7:42:27 PM Lou, I hope it's not just me and you there with horses. I don't want to go all that way if there's only a couple turn up. Been to the national before showing but not for the performance awards. Will you be riding your horse and if so will you wear what you normally wear for rides or will you wear velvet cap etc? Sue |
