Posted - 19 May 2010 : 5:46:57 PM A final start time will be decided once all the netries are collated and we see what we have. It will be either 8.30 or 9 o'clock.
Numbers have always been picked up on the day at Hocon, or at least since I've been involved and it has always worked well in the past and have no reason to think this year will be different.
Timetable ususally put on here a week before the show
IN HAND ECAHO Class HORSES MUST BRING THEIR PASSPORT & VACCINATION CERTIFICATES FOR INSPECTION BY THE DCS.
HAVE CHECKED SCHEDULE AND THIS IS IN THERE AS PART OF THE ECAHO RULES
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR PASSPORT ETC A FINE WILL BE LEVIED UNDER ECAHO RULES

Posted - 19 May 2010 : 3:13:41 PM Classes will run concurrently (apart from a short lunch break) and will depend on number of entries as regards times. A start time for the show will be given shortly and will also depend on number of entries. We still have plenty of time so don't panic! |

Posted - 18 May 2010 : 10:11:21 PM Yvonne, I've read through the schedule again and can't find anything about an SAE being required - I'd have thought the obvious place would be on the Remittance Advice but I have skimmed the whole document again this evening.
Therefore if we're not collecting the numbers/schedule until the day of the show, how do we know the start times of the classes? In the Schedule, under the title Pure Bred Arab Geldings it states classes 1a and 1b for the adult geldings, followed by 2a, 2b and 2c but there is no indication of the start time for this section.
Sorry, I'm not trying to be "difficult"! Caryn |

Posted - 18 May 2010 : 5:33:31 PM Cheques are cashed as a complete batch, none of us (there are only 3) have the time to keep running backwards and forwards to the bank)
Confirmation of entries has been sent out to those people who enclosed an SAE as per instructions in the schedule. Otherwise no confirmation will be sent.
The e mail address on here is for schedule requests only and is of course now defunct as the entries have closed.

Posted - 17 May 2010 : 9:16:14 PM I'm in the same situation and my cheque hasn't been cashed either! Just before the closing date I emailed the address from which the on-line entry form was sent and, after sending a reminder, I received an email saying that this person didn't deal with the entries and the email had been forwarded - but I haven't heard anything. I do hope that our entries have been processed as I haven't shown for years and am so looking forward to getting my yearling out & about.
What class are you in? Caryn
