Posted - 02 Jan 2013 : 2:25:17 PM Hi, I am hoping you may be able to help me!!
I bred an anglo arab colt last year and would like to be able to show him as a yearling. Ive dabbled in youngstock showing in the past but mainly local level.
I would like to be a bit more serious with this youngster as I think he has a very bright future ahead of him!
However, I wouldnt really know where to start with breed society showing and specifically for an anglo. Are there any groups I could join in my area? Im North of Bristol. Which shows would be good to start off a yearling colt. I took him out twice last year so he isnt a complete beginner but would like to give him a quiet and calm experience.
Also just wondering if there are any 'producers' who may be able to show him for me as I know they would present him better! But would like a recommendation as would prefer someone who can bear in mind that he will be produced for a competition career and the showing is for his education and our enjoyment!!
This is him at three months. Would I be wasting my time with showing?! Im NOT afraid of honest critic please!
