Posted - 11 Feb 2011 : 7:35:38 PM my lad indie is 8 months old pba reg 59% i would like to show him in hand this year but never done this and dont know where to start or which shows or classes to enter in. i live in bognor in sussex any ideas? thanks deb |

Posted - 12 Feb 2011 : 8:37:46 PM I can't help with what shows are near you, but you can certainly show him as a PBA (usually in height sections, to mature under/over 14.2hh). You can also show him in his 'type' class - show hunter, hack breeding etc. And many classes have an amateur hand;er / home produced section too. I'm sure AL'ers in your area can tell you which are friendly shows, nice venues etc. Go and watch an early show and approach friendly looking handlers and grooms - most people are happy to talk horses |
