There are a number of fantastic championship shows aimed at amatuer competitors already in existance that have Arab classes namely the Amatuer Showing Society, Chiltern and Thames Magazine Amatuer Championships but there are also a few more (not exclusively for amatuers in all cases) that only cater for PB/AA. Below are the details for the show organisers I have found so far; they will start looking at their 2011 schedule of classes now and if you could join me in writing to them to ask for the inclusion of Arab classes in their schedule and qualifying shows we may perhaps drum up enough interest to give them a good reason to include them. If we dont ask, we wont get!

Show Manager 'Equifest': bbranyan@eastofengland.org.uk
http://www.equifest.org.uk/

'Trailblazers': tbshowing@btconnect.com
http://www.trailblazerschampionships.com/

If you know of any more perhaps add them to the thread and we can get in touch with their organisers. Perhaps the show committee at the AHS would be interested in helping promote this as well?

Thanks guys, have too had favourable response from equifest and a no for this year from trailblazers. Anyone had a response from British Elite yet?

Come on people, join us in writing to these fantastic shos=ws

Have emailed all of them and trail blazers got back to me saying they will consider it for 2011/12 as already done for next year. How organised are they.

welll done kath! yup she has the initial 'ideas' and will send over the finished proposal when she can - Trailblazers cant sadly
as they already have their plans for 2011 but will definately consider us for 2012 so thats pretty good

I was one of those competing in the part bred class and agree that this show was really great.

First time have ever competed at this show and it was well worth it.

They had 800 entries in total and well worth entering

I had no idea this show existed until I started looking for amatuer/home produced championships this afternoon...if you know of any then pop them on here and give them some publicity I've contacted the organisers today...

The British Elite show was last weekend at Arena UK, we went and had a fab time, its a lovely show with super friendly organisers and very well run, with the feel of a much higher level show.

They ran an in-hand PB class and a separate pure bred class, the part bred was pretty well supported but there was only little me in the pure bred, if we get the arab classes at these shows we need to keep them well supported to ensure we fly the flag for the breed and keep them running.
