Posted - 18 Sep 2010 : 9:30:26 PM Just back from a WONDERFUL BAHPAC show held at Kings Equestrian Centre, Bromyard - this show just goes from strength to strength
The only sad part this year was that Sally Etchells was not able to attend due to an accident at home a few days earlier. Nevertheless everyone had a superb day - Jayne Armstrong very kindly ran the show on behalf of Sally and the rest of us pitched in.
I have never seen so many smiling faces, all enjoying a wonderful, happy day - this is one of the only shows for the true amateurs to perform on a level playing field.
The rosettes, sashes, trophies are second to none and lots said that altho it was their first time at Bahpac they would definately be back.
The classes were well supported with lots of quality animals forward - no-one moaned, exhibitors travelled hours and many miles to be there - so Sal don't worry we kept up the standards set by yourself and you can rest assured the show continues to be a HUGE success - roll on 2011.
I am trying to upload photos onto my facebook site - open to everyone so take a look and enjoy

Posted - 20 Sep 2010 : 09:04:54 AM The Anglo and Part Bred was an amalgamated class for youngstock with five entries. A coloured high percentage Arabian was Champion with Murraybrook China Doll in reserve
Fab show, lovely atmosphere, friendly exhibitors and Show Staff. Sally was much missed and hope she will soon be better after her accident.
Hopefully more Anglos and Partbred Arabs owners will support this really super show aimed specifically at the amateur owner/Breeder/Exhibitor. Super Rosettes,Sashes and Trophies
Posted - 19 Sep 2010 : 9:55:20 PM many congratulations Anne + Glyn and of course little Dinky, not bad for a filly that's less than 12hh!
You are doing an excellent job with her and I'm proud to have bred her, I couldn't ask for more. x

Posted - 19 Sep 2010 : 4:00:13 PM Congratulations to Anne and Glyn for winning Reserve youngstock Anglo/PBA Championship with the diminutive yearling filly, sired by their stallion Royal Command of Wentward who lives with Pam Steed at Murraybrook Stud.
The filly, aptly stable named Dinky (Murraybrook China Doll) bred by Pam, gave a good account of herself and delighted Anne and Glyn who have recently purchased the yearling.
