Posted - 26 Aug 2010 : 3:27:02 PM Hi, I'm hoping to go to the all nations cup in September but can't seem to find any flights to Aachen..... i was wondering if anyone here has been before and which carrier you flew with/from which airport. Its probably my terrible researching skills but i can't seem to find many flights!! Also.....can you buy tickets in advance?
any help would be much appreciated ....Thanks!!

Posted - 27 Aug 2010 : 11:34:12 PM You can fly to Dusseldorf or Cologne (KOLN) both airports have regular trains to Aachen which are much cheaper than taxis.

We went about 6 years ago and flew to Dusseldorf Weis (spelling?) - not sure if that's the closest airport or not but I know it took us a long time in the taxi to Aachen!
