Hi - Sally is quite correct, - you do need separate cards for botht the in-hand and the Ridden for BAC's - Entrys dont close till 7th September (or 14th if you qualify after the 7th) - so maybe you could find an affilated show somewhere? |

Posted - 06 Aug 2010 : 12:43:03 PM Hi Sal!
He's only been out a limited number of times due to injury so we have just competed him ourselves under saddle but Chelsea was hoping to possibly do in-hand on the Saturday with both Ben and our mare Shanikwa (both not being produced this year by professionals just ourselves!) but looking at the schedule not sure whether classes would clash but she would like a go at poss young handler otherwise
We have qualified with Ben also for BACS so are hoping to come up Friday till the Monday - fingers crossed. It would just give us some extra classes to play with and make it more worthwhile!

Edited to add:- We will obviously be entering the ridden as well but if we can only do ridden classes with them - then that's cool! |

Posted - 06 Aug 2010 : 12:32:34 PM Hi Jess
Bahpac and Bacs are two seperate shows but they are held on the same weekend at the same place. We have a lot of exhibitors that come to both and it's a fantastic friendly atmosphere. They are seperate shows, seperately run - bahpac by myself - BACS by the AHS but we work together to make it a good weekend. Each show has their own qualifying cards as advertised in most of the show schedules :-)
I think re BACS you have a card for the ridden and a card for the in hand BUT I'm not 100% sure - I'll talk to JAyne Armstrong and ask her to post on here.
You have until 6th Sept to enter Bahpac though ....
Tracey have you done any in hand classes this year with your boy ? |

Posted - 05 Aug 2010 : 2:04:53 PM If we have qualified for ridden can we enter inhand classes?!?!?!
And is there a separate qualification to do the BAHPAC?!?!?! I'm so confused right now or can we qualify for that using our BAC qualifying card?!?!
I don't know whether I will get a BAHPAC qualifying card in time :S and I don't want to miss that!!!

Posted - 04 Aug 2010 : 2:19:58 PM Hi Sal!
Sorry really being a little dumb here!
Does that mean that even though I have qualified two horses under saddle we can still enter for in-hand classes and young handler?
Thanks x |

Posted - 04 Aug 2010 : 12:51:13 PM Hi everyone
Was just going to say that the schedule, entry and stable forms are all on the website and available for download, or e mail me on zalkym@hotmail.com if you want them e mailing - the stable form is to be done seperately as this goes to Jayne with cheques payable to AHS - all entries are payable yo BAHPAC - sorry to confuse but it's just easier if one person deals with the stables for the weekend
Re qualifying , any AHS affiliated show is a qualifier and entries dont close until 6th Sept so there's still time !!!
Yes Kim you do need to have qualified but e mail me on zalkym@hotmail.com if you need any further info ...
We are not strict strict as this show is all about encouraging the amateur that they can take part and to enjoy it - as both Angel and Kath have said a very very friendly encouraging show :-) So even if you don't normally do in hand - have a go lol
See you all there |

Posted - 03 Aug 2010 : 1:45:15 PM Hi Sal!
Just about to send my cards back to you!
We are so excited as this will be our first time competing. Just a quick question - if the horse qualified in the ridden does that mean they are only eligable to compete in the ridden class that they qualified in or are they able to do other classes and would they have needed to qualify again in-hand to do an in-hand class?
Sorry for the questions - lol
Thanks x |

I have a mare I have produced myself and would like to show her at the BAHPAC.
