Gorgeous boy - love his bloodlines too.

OK, thanks to Rui, I've got the hang of the Flickr changes - here is that ridden stallion I like, Silvern Prince.

Athena Posted - 05 Aug 2010 : 12:28:13 PM
Well I like the riding Arab type myself - being ridden or look like there is somewhere to put the saddle and go off over those Malvern Hills for the day. I loved the Novice Ridden Champion, the Nazdromal gelding Kezzan. He didn't put a foot wrong in the main ring and looked a proper sensible athlete with a great outlook on life. Also loved the Senior Ridden Stallion winner Silvern Prince - with Darren aboard one could almost mistake him for PHA Silvern Risalm all over again apart from the extra leg white!

Loved the veteran mare Maiad too, also Supreme Champion in the Crabbet Championships. There's more but I guess they'd do to be going on with - take them home and put Maiad in foal to Silvern Prince! Now there's an idea!

Was going to post a couple of piccies but Flickr have changed their layout and I can no longer find how to "grab the url" - anyone worked that out yet?

Aw thank you Kirsty, we think she's developing in to quite a special girl! If the weather would perk up a bit i was hoping to take a few recent photos...
but what happened to this scorching August?! lol

kirst Posted - 05 Aug 2010 : 09:16:46 AM
Have had a look at the fab photos on Sweet Photography.

I would take home Stivalery too - along with Saszarta, Mirwana, and a couple of the fillies Rod Jones was showing
jaj Posted - 04 Aug 2010 : 11:30:14 PM
Oh yes of course Darcy and Zanzibar - both gorgeous !
LOU Posted - 04 Aug 2010 : 3:51:36 PM

The grey was Camargue too.... and you may be referring to Psadisho? He was last then pulled into 5th? I like him lots.... maybe a future hubby for my mare
amyribbon Posted - 04 Aug 2010 : 2:02:04 PM
Hmmmm - just one?????? I would like the ridden champion as he seemed like a really nice horse. I liked some of the stallions I saw in the classes - the white one that won the older class? He seemed really nice. I also liked one of the younger stallions, he was chestnut with a white mark on his face. LOVED the way he moved!!! I don't think the judge liked him though????

I seem to be going for boys, ha ha ha!!!!!

Amy!

Oh yes, Judal's Oasis was fabulous !
kirst Posted - 04 Aug 2010 : 08:39:16 AM
Hi Linda,

Yes Saszarta is just your type isn't she?!!!! Would love to have seen her myself as I have only seen pics so far. Looking forward to seeing pics of Qamar's colt Judals Oasis too - it sounds like he has really matured.

Kirsty x

P.S My hubby still talks about about how much he liked Qamar El Dine!

Shame you couldn't make it this year Kirsty, it was a lovely show...some lovely ridden and in-hand horse!
For me i was taken with Saszarta (such a lovely mare! Below me away) Rubi Tuesday (Very nice young filly indeed!) and Judals Oasis (very strong handsome 3 year old colt!)
Of course i loved watching my two lovely boys in the ridden ring with Ceri too

Hope you make it next year Kirsty!

Linda

Aw thank you jaj, that's lovely of you to mention
We're very excited waiting for the combination... We've been interested in using Stival since he was showing as a Yearling in America, so a long awaited baby

Zenitha Posted - 03 Aug 2010 : 9:35:53 PM
Definately Stivalery !!! Stunning !! Closely followed by the MD foal that was reserve champion - what a little mover ! Plus Camargue Too who was just beautiful, and Rusleem of course

I thought the standard of the colts and fillies classes this year was EXCEPTIONALLY high
NatH Posted - 03 Aug 2010 : 12:38:24 PM
Allot of lovely ridden horses this year - my favorite must be Ishara, bred at Vlacq and proudly owned, ridden & home produced by his Mom Sonya

Sadly I didn't get to see him as I was at work
nissibay Posted - 03 Aug 2010 : 12:11:00 PM

Stivalery was absolutely out of this world, such a unique and unbelievably beautiful show filly!!

We ourselves have a Versace grandaughter in foal to Stival due for early next year, so it is particularly exciting for us to see just how well this cross has clicked!

kirst Posted - 02 Aug 2010 : 9:13:12 PM
Can you post them for us (sad unfortunate people who could not get to the show!) to see?
taranstorm Posted - 02 Aug 2010 : 9:08:33 PM
Loved FS Ronaldo - my parnter took some lovely pictures shot of him before he went in the ring
kirst Posted - 02 Aug 2010 : 8:56:52 PM
Thanks - amazing pedigree love the lines to Bask too.
mirage Posted - 02 Aug 2010 : 8:31:09 PM
Hi. Stivalery is out of a Versace mare called V Exotic Enchantress owned by Sue and Emrys.
kirst Posted - 02 Aug 2010 : 8:14:13 PM
Wow thanks RAFA and LOISROSE for the photos! What a filly she is. And bay too! I wish I had been there to see her. She has clearly left quite an impression on people.
I would still love to know which mare she is out of?

What about the colts this year - any exciting possible future stallions?
