Posted - 14 Jul 2010 : 10:02:14 PM The Arab classes will be dropped all together We have just been talking to the secretary, if no Arabs enter the in hand class this year , it is going to be dropped altogether, as it is they have been forced combine the Part breds and pure breds, it is such a shame as she has said that in the past they had a great turnout for the Arab classes, this really is our last chance to keep this class open so, please, please please if you can possibly take part then it has to be now or it will be never, the secretary wants this class to be revived and maybe next year we will have an all purebred class again. It will be a crying shame if it is lost, as getting them to reinstate it will be virtually impossible............come on wales, let us at least save this one, we will definitely be there |

Posted - 05 Aug 2010 : 10:39:29 AM Please try and support this section. I have sponsored and if they don't get the entries they will not run it again. Nothing worse for a sponsor than seeing empty classes! Apart from that you'll have further to travel to show if you loose local classes. Please try and attend. |

Posted - 30 Jul 2010 : 6:29:20 PM Well.....I am definitely making an effort.....see my thread "FROM SMALL ACORNS" under discussions heading
Hope my shows will encourage more like minded peeps to introduce a series of Arab Anglo and Part Bred Arab only Shows (each month)
Trying to think of an apt name for my first attempt at six, monthly shows, with a Championship Show at the end of the Season
Had plenty of interest thus far, so hopefully .....2011

Posted - 30 Jul 2010 : 4:22:00 PM Im afraid thats how it goes George :(
We have attended all the local shows we can so far this year and its only been 1 or 2 in the classes and alot of them are no shows :(
We must keep going to these small shows even tho i have the added difficulty of daughter working on sat which means a day off (no pay) And everything getting more expensive, it is hard to justify the cost and if its all worth it for 1 class, 5 mins in the ring and home again esp when there is no competition. But we keep going
A lot around here have you in with the p/breds and anglos which we love, esp when a judge pulls you in above them and in the ridden classes to.
Everyone keep supporting the small local shows, lets get our beautifull arabs out there and noticed.
