Posted - 28 Apr 2013 : 8:22:35 PM Colt born today out of Ellaria http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ellaria
by my bay boy TU Champion http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/tu+champion
please don't be too harsh on judging old Elsie on the pictures, she is 21 years of age... first foal since 2010 and she is SO proud, has even lost all her cunning plans of how to steal Pixie child.
foal is about 7 hours old on the pictures... I think he is grey????

Posted - 25 May 2013 : 3:42:01 PM I'm so pleased it turned out you are getting him Abigail as much as I would have loved him to be a filly I half knew it wasn't, and I am sure you two will get a fantastic partnership under saddle |

Posted - 10 May 2013 : 07:33:10 AM Lovely foal and mare looks very well. I have seen younger mares look like hat racks after foaling! so don't be to worried at what people say, you have done your mare proud. Well done |

Posted - 03 May 2013 : 2:59:29 PM Thank you both. And thank you for the comment about my foals in general, its always nice when people like the horses one breeds...
Ellaria is if anything getting worse to catch but spring grass starting to come wont help me in that matter either, she prefers to be out however I find it too early when she has little man. |

Posted - 02 May 2013 : 3:49:26 PM He was turned out with Pixie child today, she is desperate to play, and he is very curious BUT grumpy Elsie pants will not let Pixie(well lets face it when she is out ANYBODY) near him... I'm hoping she will get better as its starting to annoy me spending 30 minutes every evening to catch her...
Few pictures from lunchtime today:

Posted - 29 Apr 2013 : 9:16:00 PM hadn't even seen the comment about Pixie child... she is SO longing to get in with him, but I want to make sure he finds his legs first... Pixie walks away from her mum to stand by the fence and look at this little man.... She is however most upset that she doesn't get all the cuddles now.
just looked at Champs other colt out of grey mare, and same dark bay at birth so maybe your right maybe he is bay... |

Posted - 29 Apr 2013 : 08:02:05 AM Thank you all, he doesn't have eye liner but he is just VERY bay anyway Im not good with this colour guessing, when I breed TB and showjumpers I NEVER used grey stallions and my only grey mare ALWAYS gave grey so it was easy .... most important is he is healthy, he might be bay, he might be grey but he has made his mum proud and I think he should be a super endurance horse... Ellaria is also the dam of the Arabian racehorse Pavot Al Kyle. |
