Posted - 28 Aug 2010 : 12:42:30 PM I have loved this gorgeous girl since i first saw pictures of her as a baby of just a few hours old, and now she's here!
Araya arrived last sunday, and i can honestly say i have never met a more beautiful, chilled out, sweet girl. She is everything an arabian should be, and everything i have ever dreamed of.
A HUGE thank you to Linda, Mum and auntie for putting up with me being an Araya groupie for 18 months, and for giving her the most amazing start in her life. Every baby that is born into LMA has the same wonderful chilled, trusting outlook on life, without losing that spark and inquisitive nature that makes an LMA baby so special.
Here's my girl...

Posted - 22 Sep 2010 : 07:56:59 AM Oh, thank you for posting that picture Lynda. I have an old arabian link with it in, I love it! I took a picture of araya at the weekend after she'd had a raz about on my mobile phone, and it reminded me so much of this picture of daddy. He's a very special boy, and i feel so lucky to have one of his babies. I'll try and upload the picture, i can't seem to get bluetooth to work, grr! Ros

Pam made it over to see our 2009 babies by Qamar, a few weeks ago and fell for Araya very very much, she likes Arayas Dam very much too!! Its was lovely for her see some of Qamars babys with us and also she could see Qamar!
Ros you are so right...a lot of mum and dad to this lovely young lady! You know how much her mum means to me ... 26 now and still makes me go wow! I hope Araya dose that for you when she is 26 too!

Posted - 19 Sep 2010 : 07:27:26 AM Thanks guys . I love watching her change colour, she's got quite a bit darker now with her winter coat coming through. She looks so like daddy at her age, and if she looks half as good as Qamar all white and shiney, i'll be very very happy. There's a lot of mum in her too, so it'll be fun watching her grow. Fee, i'm never sure where to put things . I think we're equals on the arab front, but we have added spice in the form of Mary the Monkey, the welsh mountain pony. She tells me she's worth at least 6 of the arabs (though she's probably right in the naughty stakes!). Ros |

Posted - 17 Sep 2010 : 9:09:13 PM Wow Ros I didn't know you had or were looking for another! She's really lovely! Do you have the same number as me now? Wish you'd put this on the main forum, I don't come in here often or I'd have said congrats sooner! Bet you're still smiling though

Posted - 29 Aug 2010 : 8:23:33 PM I have had my filly since she was 7 months old. Two years on she is my best friend and the relationship we have is something only other Arabian owners understand! They give so much back to you - enjoy!! The more I look at Araya the more I like her and she will look more beautiful as she matures. X Edited to say that I didn't meet her Mum at LMA but met Daddy - what a beautiful stallion. |

Posted - 29 Aug 2010 : 6:27:39 PM Oh wow she looks absolutely gorgeous Ros I know what you mean about tearing yourself away, I was the same when I first got the Pixie, it's amazing how much time you can waste just watching them eat! |

Posted - 29 Aug 2010 : 08:49:11 AM Thanks guys . I still can't really believe my luck. It really is hard to tear myself away in the evening. Oh yes, i don't really! I'm hanging around under teh pretence of "jobs" until after dark, then back up again at 5!!! Poor thing, if she could speak i'm sure she'd tell me to "bog off, leave me in peace!" when i can't tear myself away from watching her eating her breakfast! Ros |
