Posted - 01 Jul 2010 : 10:13:44 PM Just a quick post to tell all, i had a filly this morning 9 days early, mum and baby doing very well as this is the mares first she has taken it like a duck to water!!! havent stopped grining from ear to ear all day. i am unsure of wot coloure she is as mum and dad are cremello but she has a big blaze and 2 back socks. ill try and work out how to post photos on here. |

Congratulations on your filly glentullock. Sounds like a cremello alright, but dont forget they can have white markings too as the main coat colour is cream |

Posted - 02 Jul 2010 : 10:52:51 PM thanks all, yeah i think she is cremello, but such a clear blaze and socks, its hard to say grand dam and sire on both side are pallys so maybe a little has rubbed off. i cant stop smiling!!!! |

I think you will find if you breed a cremello to a cremello the resulting foal will be 100% cremello, we have bred one this year,
You can google a equine colour calculator, it is very helpful in determining colours,
