Posted - 22 Aug 2011 : 12:17:27 PM thankyou, Subaiha was a fabulous mare, she stayed with me for one summer and i fell in love with her, it would be sad if that female line died out. mummy bun bun was her pet name. ps. I bred Ibn Morafic. |

Posted - 16 Aug 2011 : 1:55:22 PM I did own Subaiha and she was a super foundation mare. She was the first horse ever to be ridden side saddle at the AHS National Show. She was a prolific winner in hand and under saddle. When she came to me she had a filly foal at foot called Bint Ibn Morafic, who I bought, and she was also successful in the ring, mainly under saddle. Subaiha died about 10 years ago after a heart attack.
Her next foal was by a TB who went to Ireland. She then had Summer Fire, again by Ibn Morafic who was exported to France.
Sumadi was next by Imad. Sumadi was successful in the show ring. Winning at Wales and West and Bicton a a yearling. She bred Inffanta, by Ffatal Attraction. Inffanta was brought out under saddle by Louise Maryon and won at several C shows. Showing was not really her "thing" so she has now embarked on an eventing career with a friend of mine. Sumadi then had a filly foal by FH Jaklan called Sulana who hopefully will be out under saddle next year. Sumadi unfortunately died a couple of years ago after a very bad attack of colic. Hope this has answered your questions. |
