Posted - 23 Jul 2011 : 09:59:09 AM Well showing isn't my thing particularly either, but obviously part bred arab classes and probably riding horse/hack classes, (unless he is smaller, in which case it would be riding pony), but I'm sure if you put your question in the showing forum you would get better advice than I can give you.

Posted - 23 Jul 2011 : 09:45:18 AM i believe they were hoping for a palamino when he was bred , but alas he turned out beautiful chestnut, very similar to his grandad,, mareschal,, he is so laid back and such a sweetie,,if i show him in-hand what classes would u suggest as dont usually show, but have been told to by a few friends, deb

Posted - 23 Jul 2011 : 08:09:56 AM Hi Deb
All the Arab in your lad's pedigree is high percentage Crabbet/Old English - Mareschal is 96.68% Crabbet, 100% Old English, Phantom Shadow (last purebred in sire's dam line) is 96.87% Crabbet. Crystal Duke is 93.65% Crabbet. Miles back you have jellaby who was imported from the US in 1936 who was egyptian, but everything else is highly Crabbet.
In the part bred side you have some well known palominos such as Mr Suntan
