please can anyone help me trace the pedigree of Libretto as the all pedigree website has no details on his sire or dam |

I'm no expert at working out percentages, but yes she has very strong crabbet lines on her dam's side, for example Shaal is approximately 97.5% crabbet, Sandstorm was 98.046875%, Manto was 100%...If you click on the little 'i' in a circle box on allbreeds when it appears next to the horse's name in the middle above the pedigree, often it will give the crabbet percentage. If you click on the tiny photo icon (if someone has posted a photo it will be in the same place), then you can see a pic of the horse.
And very Egyptian on her sire's side - sounds a lovely combination
ETA, don't really know that much, it's just that this website and the long dark winter evenings are turning me into an anorak! |

thanks for sorting out the chart. do you know much about the pedigrees on this chart and what the percentage of my horse field ballerina would be as i am lead to believe she has egyption on her sires side but also a lot of crabbet on her dams side. |

Libretto is in AHS Stud book XIV, bred by Mrs F. R. Pritchard,
1984 he sired Elen chestnut filly out of Shaal
1985 Skye, chestnut filly out of Shaal
In 1986 he sired Storms Legacy, a grey colt out of Melrouka (imp)
1988 Melissande, chestnut/grey filly out of Haze (Indian Ruler x Azura) |

Anyone can add an entry to allbreeds, and I think the one that you looked at has been started but not completed, does Libretto appear in the pedigree of a horse you are looking at? If so then it is probably linked to the wrong entry for Libretto, tell me which one and I will have a look at it for you.
If you were looking at a horse with Skye in it's pedigree I have just edited the link. I'm off to check my copies of the AHS stud book just to ensure that it is the correct information.

think it must have been sandstorm out of manetta looking at the year do you know much about this horse and why it doesnt have the entries on his sire and dam and so forth? |

Do you mean L M Libretto, foaled 1991, chestnut, by Drago out of Dadobia by Falce? He is Spanish, exported to Austria 1992.
There is a second Arabian Libretto on allbreeds, with full pedigree, foaled 1980 by Sandstorm out of Manetta.
