I've searched my old Horse World (USA) and still can not find any pics of this sire. The search in the US goes on areas, (Rancho Milagro Yegua is in Texas, and looks to have info on the dam.)
The other thought I had was to ask for someone on here to check the DataSourc to see if they can find Southern Storm there. might give you a lead.
and also to follow the racing links to when he raced and where...should be photo's there. You could try the US, Aranbian Racing Org.,plenty to see there and follow the links to: Mandolynn Hill Farm, who have several By Golly stock to see pics off and the Milagro Yegua in Texas...
Nice pic of Southern Steak in the Texas Arabian Breeders ass. where the horse was sold.
I'm sure that as soon as Paul has caught up after his seasonal celebrations, he'll be back to give you the info your after.

Totally agree with Moosie about the American racing lines, looks like you've chosen extemely well. Moosie's Wiking grand daughter is a lovely, versitle stamp of a horse and the temperaments of mine/our grand son/daughter are also superb. Look forward to seeing some photos of your boy Lynaire.

that would be lovely - all those American racing lines seem to be lovely horses,sane and sensible and lovely people. My Wiking grand daughter races (successfully) also does a decent prelim dressage test (could do a lot more but its a bit difficult fitting it all in!), jumps like a stag and Im hoping to get her to advanced endurance this season (fingers xxxed) - havent done over 40 miles yet - once again because it has to fit in with race training as well.The By Golly lines seem to be great too so hes got everything going for him. |

Thank you Moosie, I am no expert about arabian racing lines either, hence my thread. I have actually purchased him to be produced for dressage as he has 3 fantastic paces and a superb temperament, plus substance and height. I will get some photos for you to see. |

I am absolutely no expert but all these bloodlines (to me!) shout "great horse, fantastic performance potential, lovely temperament" - am actually rather envious - have lots of fun with him |

Thank you all for your help. I have subsequently found out that he was exported to the United Arab Emirates while still in race training, then retired. He was bred to about half a dozen mares only at the Royal Stud, as there were so many stallions available at the time. The reason I have been asking is that I have recently purchased (Christmas Eve) a 3 year old colt by him out of a mare called Love Joy (By Golly) who is the dam to the racing mare Joyful Love. The more I work with this little guy (well not so little he stands around the 15.2 mark) the more I really, really like him. |

Caught my attention too as I own Wikkara (thanks Sue) and also half own Whisper, a multiple race winner, also by The Wiking.
I too have searched for you Lynaire and have only managed to come up with the same as Callisto. We need Sundance to point us in the right direction, will send him a text and direct him here.

All I can find is that he was awarded Arabian Finish Line's (USA Magazine) 3 year old colt of the year in their 1995 Darley Awards - perhaps they can help?
I also found a couple of photos of his full brother Southern Streak on the Texas Arabian Breeders Association website. |

Just caught my attention as Linda Cross's Wikkara was crowned Champion ARO for 2010, a lovely useful Chestnut Arab, who is by The Wiking, who is by Wiking.
