Anyone got any ideas of the percentage of my mare Lindance Satin? She's by Riversedge Aszula (Aikon Aszu/Nekita) out of Nekita (Monitor/Jemille) and I've just discovered she has Crabbet on both her sire and dams side. Thanking you in anticipation. |

Hi, I'm no expert, but your mare's Crabbet blood comes through Carmargue (approx 56% Crabbet), who appears on both sides because Nekita was bred to her own son (Riversedge Aszula), My rough estimate is that Aszula is 15% Crabbet and Nekita is approx 18% Crabbet, making your mare approx 16% Crabbet. Your girl's other bloodlines are russian and egyptian, so it's a very nice mix.
If anybody out there notices a mistake in my calculations please correct me - as I said I am just an interested amateur at this - and they are rough percentages rather than calculated to decimal fractions. |
