On behalf of a friend does anyone have any pictures or information about this stallion other than his pedigree?
No picture on all breeds :(

The Titteringtons still run Birkrigg Park Arabian Stud and it is near Kendal. I'm sure they would help with more details of Banner of Blue. |

I dont have pic of him but the 2 horses in my sig pic - the grey is grandson and the chestnut, great-granddaughter. Gorgeous horses! |

Oh sorry got it to work this morning its only clips of sports not all of the full program not a single shot of a horse let alone the stud would of been nice to see some of the past horses possably |

Well, I've just been googling Birkrigg Park Arabian Stud and it looks like it is or was in Kendal not Ulverston. Kendal is around 25 miles from me. Very interesting all the same

I live half a mile away from Birkrigg Park, Ulverston. I had no idea that there had been an Arabian Stud there at some point. Who owned this and when did it close down ? Hopefully somebody on here will know ?

I have had a look on the web and there is a film about the stud in the description it say's `` . Frank Mellor attends the Arab Horse Society's Northern Show in 1974 where horses are paraded and awarded rossettes and he visits Birkrigg Park Arabian Stud in Ulverston where girls are seen working in the stables'' i can not get it to work  this is the link I was fingers crossed that you would find what you where looking for here's the link

I have some pics on my computer at home, I'm pretty certain he's probably passed away by now. You could contact Birkrigg Park where he lived most of his life.
