Info wanted on her sire: THRUSTER (1912) 1123 NPS. and her Dam: VENETIA NPS.(Approved Mare Register,page 2). incase anyone can sheck the old register and the NPS register please. 4449 PIAVE NPS Vol.XVIII, pg.34 + pic. Posted - 24 May 2010 : 12:18:28 AM Hi, Folks, Thanks for the help, now completed THRUSTER pedigree. leaving the link. Also a winner at 1923 London Spring Show gaining a Reserve, National Pony Society and has the famous 14.3hh mare POCAHONTAS,in her line,believed to be the longest living TB. & bred by King William IV and owned till her death by Lord Exeter.
Posted - 22 May 2010 : 8:15:26 PM Mother found an article in Hurlingham News in 1931: The excellent polopony mare Maude (bred and owned by Col. Wernher) by Thruster 1123 out of Uqbara (grey mare 14,3hh, raced and played polo in Iraque, arab) was sold at Tattersall June sale for £ 3010 to Capt E.F. Bolton , Nigeria, West Africa.

Posted - 19 May 2010 : 09:50:14 AM In list of Polo Pony Stallions available for service in 1929 Thruster 1123 is standing at stud with Col. Sir H.A. Wernher, K.C.V.O., M.F.H, Thorpe Lubenham Hall, Market Harborough, Leics. No mention of Thruster in 1930, so not at stud that year.
