He was imported to India where he won races and thence to England about 1891. He was owned at various times by the Rev. D.B. Montefiore, Col. E.N. Henriques and H.C.('Inky') Stephens M.P. |

Posted - 19 Oct 2009 : 6:40:05 PM Haven't found any Mootrub yet. Might be interesting to know there was a chestnut thoroughbred colt called Zoophyte (GSB Vol 14) born 1885 by Sterling out of Coral, he was sent to India in 1888.
