Mootrub ches. colt. 1887 Height 14.2hh. Imported from Calcutta in 1891.
1st. Eastern Sire, NPS Show 1904 and 1905.
1st. Eastern Sire, Royal Show in 1903 and 1904.

Mootrub Or.Ar. was a chestnut stallion, seglawi jedran, foaled in 1887 and bred i Nejd, Central Arabia. He was imported to India where he won races and thence to England about 1891. He was owned at various times by the Rev. D.B. Montefiore, Col. E.N. Henriques and H.C.('Inky') Stephens M.P. |

Haven't found any Mootrub yet.
Might be interesting to know there was a chestnut thoroughbred colt called Zoophyte (GSB Vol 14) born 1885 by Sterling out of Coral, he was sent to India in 1888.
