I'm having difficulty trying to find pics and information on Kapron, the Russian stallion. Can anyone here help?

Just flicking through the pages and came across this old thread about Kapron.
We have a son Kismet who is himself now 27years old also a granddaughter Atmosfera out of Kapraslina who is 22.
We imported both from Countess Lewenhaupt in Sweden many years ago now.

Thank you, Cazza! Am I right in thinking that's a prophet's thumbmark on his neck?

Paul Atkinson wanted to add this photo of Kapron, who was stabled with him when the stallion was in England in the 1980's.

Thanks for the latest additions to my initial request! I love that pic that dormouse put on here, it's now my desktop

This is the only photo I have in my Russian folder of Kapron.

Kapron was imported by The Grange Arabian Stud, which I managed for many years. He came to us from The Kossack Stud in Holland but of course he was bred at Tersk in Russia. He was royally bred being by Aswan and out of the great Salon mare Karolina. We had leased him for two seasons and he sired some lovely foals while in the UK. Kazian was out of my old girl Zaian (by Al Malik) and he won several championships in the UK. Kazian's full brother in blood Kapronaz (ex Zarzura) was exported to the renowned Vidiko Stud in South Africa. Kapronaz sired some gorgeous offspring for Koos Voorendyk, some of which we were able to see last year. Kapron was refined and elegant, his head was much prettier than in an earlier photo and he was quite small but had HUGE tail carriage and presence. Hope this trip down memory lane is helpful.

How funny, my Cosreia was also a bay, that came from her mother though.

My Kapron son at age 20, first show in 12 years:

Sorry it's a bit fuzzy!

Thanks everyone! Very much appreciated.

Lila, I worked with and later cared for a son of Kapron, whom I sadly lost 19 months ago at the age of almost 21. I knew him for nearly 17 years, and he was one of the rare bays Kapron produced. I'll try to get a pic of him on here.

When Kapron stood in Holland I used to help out with him at the stallion licensing show. He was such a gorgeous boy. I once owned a mare by him out of an old English dam, a gorgeous girl as well.

I've seen that one, thanks, but it's not one you can make a copy of and keep! As soon as you move the mouse, the pic vanishes

There is a picture and info about Kapron on All-Breeds Nerusa.

He was chestnut born 1977 and sired over 200 foals. Was bred at the Tersk stud
