Posted - 11 Jun 2009 : 11:39:03 AM Hello,
Bought my boy last year, , he's apparently mostly crabbet with a pinch of polish...
He is sired by Ganemede out of Saphira, bred at Stourvale Stud in Dorset.
Here's his all breeds site http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bey+sirocco
Any wild guesses at Crabbet percentage???
And any info on his parents? |

Posted - 13 Jun 2009 : 08:45:16 AM I know both Saphira and Ganemede. Saphira's mum, Spitti, was a character. She had all the boys under her thumb. They were always very cautious when approaching her to cover. I think Saphira inherited some of her mum's character but was less bossy.
Ganemede is lovely and such a gentleman. He has a lovely head and has produced some fantastic foals. Tina Cooke still has him in Dorset.
Your boy will be mostly Crabbet. Old English as he was bred by Tina Cooke. |

Posted - 11 Jun 2009 : 4:29:13 PM I do have piccies but *whispers* I can't upload them from my work computer...
Have PM'd Ali Bali, I think they are 3/4 brothers. There is also a girl here called Domini.Taylor who I think might have a full sister to my boy. AL is such a wonderful resource
I'd like to show Rocco this year (if I can convince him to box!) and I'm hoping he'll do okay as long as I can get my head round the ring etiqette! |

Posted - 11 Jun 2009 : 4:01:32 PM Hello
My Boy, Bey Daghmah (DJ to his mates), is also by Ganemede x Dahmah, and bred by Tina. He is 85% Crabbet with a hefty dose of Gainey on his sire side (its a very interesting pedigree).
Ali Bali on here also has a Ganemede son up in Scotland.
Tina I am sure will be able to tell you loads about your Boy's parents.
Have you any pix to show us?
