Posted - 20 Jun 2018 : 7:26:24 PM Hello everyone, this is my first post. Does anyone remember an article in Horse and Pony mag from 1980's about an arab mare that had a foal an then she sadly died. Another mare fostered her. I know it was an arab stud mother and daughter i think. I think the mare's name was kahira? bit of a long shot i know, but my magazine was lost many years ago, sadly and i often think about it.

There is a mare Kahira on allbreed born 1978. She looks like a Holmes Farm (The Lindsays) or Horsey Island horse - does that ring a bell?
