Hi, I wondered if any one could help me please...any information I would be VERY grateful for. I bought a 3 year old arab gelding last year, unregistered and would really love to get him registered. His sire is Northasharadamis (G Iridis bint bint emeera) and dam is Garland (ventican/garnet)
At risk of sounding repetative, a friend of mine did post on this forum very kindly for me last year, and we did get lots of help back, but unfortunately I still havn't been able to track down the dam or sire .
A year later, I still would really love to do all I can to see if i can at the very least get him registered as PB.
The AHS tell me both his parents are still registered with them to a A Prothero, although didn't have any contact details, they do not hold DNA for either of them.
They suggested seeing if I could track down A prothero.
If any one has any information, or can suggest any thing, I would be very grateful.

thanks gardenia for your message, i tried a while back trying to contact allan but just got dead ends :-( thanks garnet i'll try googling garland and north ash again, i did find bits on them being shown by allan a few years ago but couldn't find any other info it's strange the pair of them seem to have disappeared! equestrian girl the last known owner was allan prothero from trudger way he used to breed from her, then something happened about 3 years ago and he sold off all his stock including my boy i'm desperately trying to get registered but need dan. Ty draw did try to buy the mare garland back but she got sold to someone else. is your horse from garland? |

Have you tried Googling the hores' names? I am trying to find Aldwych Arabesque, and Google threw up an entry on a Sports Horse database accompanied by a photo of her with me back in 1998 when I was showing her! No idea how it got there, and no use to me, but you might have more luck. |

There's mention of an Alan (Allan?) Prothero (not to be confused with Alun Prothero) in another Arabian Lines thread but it's a few years old. Maybe you can find some contact info via someone who posted there because he was contacted apparently.

Hi sorry for opening this back up, I've taken my boy to a few shows recently, and still desperately seeking Garland and Northasharadmis, wondered if anyone knows of their where a bouts? Garland was owned by alan protheroe Tredegar area and then moved on livery to different owners, i suspect she is still some where in wales. if any one does have any info i'd be very greatful thank |

Have you contacted Sue Richards at Ty Draw Stud?Sue would have bred the dam I suspect as she had both Ventican and Garnet.
The breeder of Northash aradamis(Mike Davies)might be able to help you with Alan Protheroe.
