Posted - 29 Apr 2012 : 2:22:22 PM Does anyone have or know of pictures of these two or any of the Arab breeding stock and progeny of Marsh Farm Stud in Boston, Lincolnshire. Bred by Rosalind Moore. I am trying to identify a gelding that I believe originated from this stud. I can't seem to get hold of Rosalind since our initial conversation last week. |

Posted - 28 Mar 2014 : 12:23:53 PM Hi Annas
I randomly stumbled on this post after searching for the whereabouts of Gold Shaliffe. Did you ever get any photos of Loucette or her offspring? I have quite a few photos of her and her babies as she lived used to live with us :) |

Posted - 01 May 2012 : 11:56:17 AM Loucette was bred by Tina Cooke in Dorset and she was by Ahmoun. Her foals father was actually Gold Seyal, who is now a gelding. She was a very beautiful mare and I had the privelege of showing her once for Tina when we came 2nd. |

Posted - 29 Apr 2012 : 9:05:34 PM I was quite friendly with Ros years ago.I knew Senraf and Loucette. He was a very pretty white stallion. I am sure if you write to Ros she will have some pictures of both of them. I can give you her address and phone number if you pm me. |

Posted - 29 Apr 2012 : 4:41:48 PM Found another of Loucette's sons on the EGB results page:-
Gold Shaliffe (10478)
Year of Birth: 1996 Colour: GREY Sex: G
Breed: AHS Sire Gold Seykl Dam: Loucette
Looks like he was based in the south west, but can't find a picture yet, he got the presentation and handling prize in the Exmoor Eighty at the 2007 Golden Horsehoe ridden by Michael French. He was number 43 if you can find a photo archive of that Golden Horseshoe.

ETA Have just looked at Loucette's pedigree - if he is Loucius then he has lovely bloodlines!
