I'm looking for any info on this boy on behalf of a friend. Shes just adopted/loaned one of his gorgeous sons from HAPPA & would love to know a bit more about him. Any info would be gratefully received. Is he still about? Any progeny info? Pics?

Was he owned by Deborah Kershaw at some point from Haslingden.If he was I knew him and competed against him many times at Bacup show in the good old days.

Hi, only just seen this. I used to own Lalita who was the mother of Mandis, the father of Ramandees.This makes her your friends horse the great grandson. Lalita was chestnut and Mandis was a grey, he was a seriously good endurance horse. I think he is still alive and lives near Preston in Lancashire.Lalita died 3 years ago at the grand age of 34 and was still fit and well right up to a week before she died though heart failure. She was an incredible mare and friend whose temperament was wonderful. I hope your friends horse has inherited some of her qualities. I would love to see pictures and hear more about him-and about Ramandees. Its great to know he is still around. |

Hi Jane..almost missed your reply!
I think her boys name is Jerry Mandis, but I'll have to confirm that as I'm not sure she has his papers from HAPPA yet. He's just turned 16 in May.
How wonderful that Ramandees is still going strong. If his son has inherited his lovely dispostion from his sire, he must be a wonderful boy! My friend will be so pleased to hear this. I don't suppose you have any pics him I could send her?
