Posted - 08 May 2010 : 9:43:15 PM i have a bright bay egyptian arab called buck, his registered name is meant to be 'jewel of the nile' however no luck tracking his papers down under that name. i do not have his papers or his original passport, i have a duplicate passport under the horse passport agency. i have been trying desperately to find his papers or his sire and/or dam, anything that will help me track down his papers. i really want to do bigger shows as i have done well at local shows and have qualified for a few shows with him. i have been in touch with his old owner but she was no help, i have been in touch with the arab horse society and they only have a mare under that name. if anyone could help i would be so grateful! i bought him from a yard in ashton, wigan 5/6 years ago. if anyone has any info about him, parents, breeder/stud/whatever please contact me!

Posted - 10 May 2010 : 8:24:02 PM his old owner told me that was his registered name however having spoken to some other people on this i have tried a translator and got back in touch with the AHS. but i know, i thought exactly the same but i am desperate! i hate it, i can do hardly any shows and its not the fact that i think i will do well, its just the getting there! thank you for your help anyway though. and i will put a picture up on this now kastell, he doesnt really have any strange markings, just 3 white socks to his cannon and one white patch to his pastern. he has a white blaze and a pink nose. he has two settled splints at the front. he is 15.1hh and is 12. i was told he was bought from a farm in the crosby/liverpool area? thank you both for your time and help! aimee
Posted - 10 May 2010 : 7:29:38 PM Hi Aimee, could you post a picture of your boy & list any scars, strange markings etc that he may have & height etc, you never know someone may recognise him. Do you know his approximate age? Did his previous owner tell you where she bought him from, even just an area? Hope you can discover his background, good luck!

I am afraid if the previous owner wont help and the AHS dont have a name , I doubt anyone can help. you could try again with the previous owner and ask her where she got him from , then approach them?
