I am looking for information about my arab mare. I have owned her for 4 years and prior to that she was at a riding school in north east england for 2 years. They bought her off a dealer and gave her her current name. I have been unable to trace her history any further. She is approximately 11-12years and 15hh. I have been told she could possibly be out of alaya and prince shalamzar but haven't been able to confirm this. She has a scar on the front of her left hind leg just above the fetlock joint. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Again thanks for all the replies. I have contacted AHS and asked if they could check their records and am awaiting a reply.
Savannah was at Fernhill Stables in Springwell, Washington, I bought her from there. I don't have any details about the dealer the stables bought her from but it was approximately 6 years ago.

Hi. I have two Coatham mares but out of M L Kulina x Prince. Which school in the North East was your mare at? and where was the dealer you bought her from? |

I think the colour and marking are included in the Stud books, Bridie on here has most of these and she may look and be able to tell you if any of the mares are similar to yours.Bay + Blaze & four socks.Have you asked the AHS if you can send them a photo to check the records for these mares..might be worth a try. Your photos would help with that.

Thanks for the replies. Sharon has seen my horse and she was the one who thought she was sired by prince and looked very like the foals produced by alaya but I've got no evidence of this. I believe Alaya had a number of foals out of Prince all beginning with the name Coatham. |

Coatham Lass is the only offspring of Prince Shalamzar and Alaya listed on allbreeds, foaled in '93, don't know if you already knew this, the information on there isn't necessarily 100% though. |
