Posted - 26 Aug 2009 : 3:50:17 PM IM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON BLAENGWY WENDY, I BOUGHT HER FROM BEESTON MARKET TWO WEEKS AGO BUT I KNOW SOMEONE WHO OWNED HER ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO THAT TRIED TO BREAK HER BUT DID NOT SUCCEED SO SHE WAS SOLD AS A BROODMARE AND HAS BEEN IN THAT SAME HOME UNTILL I BOUGHT HER FROM BEESTON LAST WEEK. IM TRYING TO FIND OUT SOME INFORMATION ON WHO HAD HER AND WHAT HAS BEEN DONE WITH HER PRIOR TO 2005. I KNOW THAT SHE WAS BRED BY I. PRITCHARD FROM LLANFAES, BRECON IN POWYS IN 1996 AND HE PASSED AWAY AND SHE WAS SOLD UNHANDLED IN 2001. SHE WAS EITHER SOLD IN LLANYBUDDER AND THEN TO SOMEONE AROUND THAT AREA OR SOLD DIRECT FROM THE STUD IM NOT SURE, ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.13 YR OLD MARE. |

Posted - 14 Aug 2010 : 11:14:04 PM Hi,
I think I may own the yearling filly that was sold at Ruthin Farmers out of Blaengwy Wendy...though the sellers name was Bell, not wells...She is now a beautiful 2 year old who has the most fantastic temperament and a big cuddly girl...be interested to find out who her sire was though (her name is Bizzy Lizzy)...sires name Cymro...if anyone knows...thanks
Also be lovely to see pictures of her mum! hoping to hear from you |
