Does anyone know where this mare is.(If still alive) She is bay with a star. By a bay stallion called Bajezeth out of a chestnut mare called Cydonia.
She would be about 21 yrs old now bred in cornwall my my mother just wondering how she is and what she's been doing in life.
Thanks

Posted - 25 Jul 2009 : 9:13:32 PM Hi I was interested to read this thread as We used to own the mare Cydonia (Queenie)we sold her when left Cornwall and moved to Cheshire,we also bred a bay by Jenny's stalliion Liffy (Bajazeth)we called her Amira of Bacizeth (Annie)she won numerous Championships under saddle and I bred a foal by her. Sadly we lost Annie a few years ago she was truly a amazing mare who never let us down and will never be replaced. I would be interseted to see some photos, are you going to Malvern ?

Posted - 18 May 2009 : 7:06:55 PM I do not know this mare but Bajazeth was owned by Jenny Osborne, who had Legend Arabian Stud in Porthtowan Cornwall. Unfortunately I no longer have her phone number but it might be in one of the stud directories |

Posted - 18 May 2009 : 3:07:58 PM some few years back..93 -94
l believe they bought her from her breeder as a birthday present for their daughter, l can not remember how old she was but she was bought as a riding horse and already broken..
at the time l was quite annoyed about this as the breeder/owner had been told she would be kept with my arabs at my stud which was quite untrue...............and l knew nothing about it
the daughter did lose interest so the mother was riding her about until they moved away [six months later]l think she went to tim le grice's place but that was sold later on
l had no contact with the people who sold her so sorry l can not be more help
good luck with finding her
