Posted - 02 Aug 2009 : 10:09:08 AM Does anyone out there know where Savannah is? She was owned by Val Bunting at Umm Qarn, where I worked from 1998-2003. Savannah was my project horse that I worked and prepared for shows,I attended Hocon and Aachen with her, and Mark Gamlin showing her.
I would just love to hear how she is if anybody knows? I loved that horse and would really appreciate any news & pics of her? Savannah would be about 9 or 10 now I think!

Posted - 04 Aug 2009 : 7:39:14 PM If I remember rightly !! The later filly (the grey ??) was with Nikki Haworth for a while and I think 'Swampy'!! was given to Val's step-daughter ?? I forget her name - sorry. Don't think she's every bred from her either ??

Granted, not a good name for a beautiful filly, but she had the most amazingly long and numerous whiskers as a new born and the name stuck!
She'll be 12 now as born in 1997. Same year as Grands first foal for Umm Qarn was born
Not heard anything about her or her half sister/auntie born the same year by Kouvey Bey out of Boedicia (solitaire's dam)
