Posted - 17 Oct 2011 : 1:15:47 PM hiya - correct me if I am wrong , but I read in H&H recently that H&S regulations are getting tougher and therefore just wondered if we are still allowed to wear the Beagler type show/dressage hat without the harness in the show ring for next yr? does anyone know of any changes..thanks! |

Posted - 17 Oct 2011 : 5:02:21 PM I'm going for the Fiona Beagler for next season...a few i did including equifest had a no beagler rule and to be fair, unless on a surface I started to prefer my proper hat and now there is such a lovely looking one with harness its better safe than sorry for me in future |

Posted - 17 Oct 2011 : 4:41:11 PM The only changes that i've heard of have been in Dressage - you now have to wear a safety hat with a harness below Advanced Level BUT there are a few show venues which stipulate in their rules that safety hats must be worn and for M&M classes you have to wear a safety hat!
I didn't wear my beagler at all last season (as was only really showing the M&M) and so sold my Bealger when BD made their announcement - just wear my Charles Owen Show hat now... playing it safe lol |
