Chocolate is banned though
DOnt know wether its horse or handler though!!
I should imagine it would be fine,like has been said, its not an enhancing drug or pain relief drug.

Checked on FEI website and pergolide is not named as a banned substance,so i presume its ok. |

Made me laugh the other day as at the bottom of the docket he wrote 8 days withdrawal from Danilon before competing - like I could get Shesky to a show anytime soon lol! Just habit! |

My mare won veteran champion and she was on Pergolide. I never thought anything of it and nobody ever asked. As others have said it is not performance enhancing or pain relief so I cant see the problem. |

I'd be interested if they say no as My old boy has been on pergolide for years and Im thinking of taking him out in veteran classes at some point... ( when Im fixed! ) |

I cant see any reason why not as it doesn't mask or reduce pain or inflammation and isn't performance enhancing and doesnt act as a doping agent.
For a definitive answer you could check with the jockey club
