Posted - 26 Dec 2016 : 3:33:21 PM I agree Jackiedo. For those who can remember the very early sixties the world seemed so full of hope. Now where has that gone. It was not all killed by Lee Harvey Oswald but the world became a sadder place because of what it is alleged he did. |

Posted - 26 Dec 2016 : 07:59:25 AM I can't remember where I was when Kennedy was assassinated, I remember vaguely the moon Landings, I remember the events of 9/11 and the horrible way the world changed forever. I remember that also, in a strange way, that it led to a major drop in funds to the IRA from NY Fire and Police Departments. I remember when the Berlin Wall Fell, and the joy we all felt when families were reunited. I am sad to think that that wall has been rebuilt in hearts and minds across Europe. |

Posted - 23 Nov 2016 : 7:40:03 PM Still remember how I felt, firstly we did not know he had been killed and then that was announced. Could not believe it. BBC finished its programme but ITV went off air immediately. |
