Posted - 01 Jan 2012 : 7:45:00 PM Yes, I seem to remember Tutein jumping off the top of the Derby bank. He does look quite Arab now I know but I hadn't realised it before. Lovely horse and an exciting ride I should think! |

Posted - 01 Jan 2012 : 3:20:57 PM Think I read it on another forum that the guy is supposed to be a polo rider??
I would love to give him a few lessons on how to jump a horse! Poor horse and lets just smack it about 10 mins after its refused the jump so that it understands what its being punished for...idiot!
What a fab little horse putting up with that. That man should be embarrassed! |

Posted - 01 Jan 2012 : 12:31:32 PM I don't think he had a 'pedigree' as such, just I remember an interview with Annette Lewis saying he was heavily arab bred, so I reckon not registered. Do you remember that amazing trot he had? I saw him live at Olympia I think it was and he came in the ring doing this amazing trot, almost taking his own teeth out! |

Posted - 01 Jan 2012 : 12:19:32 PM I remember Tutein and Annette well although I hadn't seen that round before! Didn't realise he was PBA - does anyone know his breeding as he is not on Allbreeds? |

Posted - 01 Jan 2012 : 11:55:23 AM Annette Lewis only threw her legs back on Tutein to avoid hitting the fences as he was so little, also he was a pba . This guy is only staying on through the grace of god! That horse is a saint!! |

Posted - 01 Jan 2012 : 09:24:34 AM Poor horse - what an honest animal. The idiot needs more than a few lessons.
I once did a similar thing on my dear Asters in a hunter trial. She rather over-jumped a 3'3" hunter trial jump - and I gather she cleared it by about 2'. The jump judge was my son's pony club instructor - and she said she couldn't see how I had managed to stay on - and I should be jumping the 5' course as Asters had so much scope.(they had several different courses at the Blue Anchor cross country venue) I did say that although Asters could have done a 5' course - there was no way I would have attempted it - as I would never have had the courage or ability to stay in the saddle. |

Posted - 01 Jan 2012 : 08:02:14 AM Poor horse has done himself/herself no favours by being so willing. I do hope the rider, and I use the term loosley, hurts in all the places I would like to hurt him in. |
