Posted - 30 Dec 2011 : 8:02:51 PM thought you might like to see some photos of the pandas at Edinburgh Zoo, Neil and Jemma swung in past on their way home from Nottingham where they were visiting the outlaws, as Neil had a few jobs to do in the Penguin house, and off course Jemma got to jump the que and go and visit the pandas, not once but twice, lucky kid, some photos she took, she likes her dads job some days lol, maybe I will get to go down next time

Neil says to watch out for the monkeys peeing on you as well, thats not happened to anyone yet, but apparently there is a bit that they use to pee over the side of the enclosure and its one of the points for going in to see the male panda, but its not been used yet lol. Tell Lesley, Neil says Happy New Year and he will see her in a couple of weeks |

Posted - 31 Dec 2011 : 5:27:13 PM thanks Moatside, she loved going to see them, Neil my OH is down on a regular basis looking after the penguin pool, his work do the filters/eco system and keep the water clean of penguin poo, and do a very good job off it as well, and have been complemented on how much the water clarity has improved since he/his work took the job over. |

Posted - 31 Dec 2011 : 2:18:37 PM They are here for the next ten years, I reckon when the initial excitement has died down, you will be able to go and see them w/out booking. I do hope they have baby panda cub, too sweet
Janet, I've never seen that, the look on the Mother's fsce, too funny |

yes you do, and you can only do it on line, and needs to be done 24hrs in advance, there is no extra charges for seeing them it is included in the price, but they only let a set number of people through at a time, and its a guided tour. Its a bit sad that people who go spur of the moment may be disapointed in not geting in to see them, as there are no facilities on site to book your visit to see them. Which as I already said is a bit sad. |

I remember as a very small little girl regularly going to London Zoo to see Chi Chi. Goodness, she was too sweet |
