So this probably isn't a big deal for most people.... but for me it is! 
For years I have wanted to ride on the beach but for several reasons (confidence, distance etc) have never been able to fufill this desire.
Guess what I spent my boxing day doing... 
And Billy was an absolute Angel  (abeit a little strong...  )
Our trip also featured a spectacular "handbrake turn" thanks to a stream appearing out of nowhere during our little blast a long the sands  well obviously billy had no choice but to head in the other direction immediately, just incase...  |

Susie we had similar issues with my boy, after a few minutes of coaxing I got him to the waters edge and a wave started swirling towards his feet and we spun and leaped just in case it was going to eat us

Im super jealous! its something I've always wanted to do, but cant imagine it on my boys they'ye PUDDLE phobic! I think they'd have a fit if the water actually ran at them up a beach!
One day,I hope. its on my list of things to do before I die

It certainly is a beautiful beach, you and your horses are all welcome to come and visit some time and we'll take a trip down there |

Ennik, ok my Mum can give you 5 years, but she took Harley down to the beach a few months ago (combined age 91) and they had a whale of a time

Am I the only one who wants to kiss Billy all over I am lucky enough to have had lots of beach rides, living by the sea, and my rule was, when out of control, head for the soft sand
