Posted - 23 Dec 2011 : 9:33:40 PM I'd finished my shift and decided to brave Tescos before heading home. As I walked around I saw a woman in Jodhs and boots; so (being the sort of annoying person who'll strike up a conversation with anyone), I commented on how clean she was for an afternoon after horses. I then noticed she had an Armada Arabians jacket on so we really started chatting - she is Arabianlover!
We chatted for a while, as a kid she used to be at Pulpits and remembered some of the ponies and (really bizarrely), we both lived in the same house in Hockley - me with my parents in the 1970s and her with her parents some time later!
It really is a small world!

Posted - 24 Dec 2011 : 09:59:37 AM One of my new year hopes is to meet more Aliners. I have met SueJ briefly on her way to the Golden Dragon ride where she kindly dropped off some parts for my trailer, and I have met I went to see Jan who is only an hour away when she bought palamera. Where are you Jan? Are you okay?
It certainly is a small world to meet up in Tesco, but how cheery. |

Posted - 23 Dec 2011 : 10:07:08 PM Brilliant! I always smile at horsey looking people, often get a strange look back! However, it really is a world full of coincidences... |
